It’s official, the new bundle dropped just in time for Episode 9. While the theories of a possible new Agent are swirling around, the players are unpacking their fresh new bundles. So far, the differences in first impressions of Evori Dreamwings have divided the Valorant community.
Evori Dreamwings Enchants Some Valorant Players
On June 27, the official Valorant account on X announced the arrival of the new bundle. They stated: “Unite and fight as one with Evori Dreamwings at your side. Available now”. Alongside, the account posted a picture showing the adorable, yet deadly features of the bundle.
As you would expect, the first reactions were extremely positive. The design alone collected hundreds of positive reviews. There is something really daring about using softness to accentuate the harshness of the game. One player, st1mulated, excitedly shared: “I was so surprised by how good Riot did on the whole bundle and the quality of the animations! It is very cute”.
Many players pointed out that the price of the whole bundle was 9900VP, which is a pretty steep price for most of the player base. A lot of fans stated they wouldn’t be buying the bundle, but if they came across any skins on the floor, they’d gladly pick them up. One player, happy_cookie, said: “It’s aight, way too expensive for what it is though. I get how much stuff is in the bundle, but it’s just way too much to pay 100 dollars AND all the radianite for it all. Personally I don’t think I’m buying anything”.
For those of you wondering if you’d have time to save up, officialmark- offered a small reminder. They said: “The weapons skins are not limited time, if they were, it would be stated. Accessories from bundles are always limited time though, they never return. Accessories store is also for BP Accessories only”. Another player, fo420tweny, confirmed: “Any Premium Buddies/Cards/Titles etc are limited when they are from bundle”.
Not All the Players Had a Good Experience With the New Bundle
Aside from the price, some players had problems with other aspects of the bundle. HeirOfHanma noted: “I like the way it looks and I like the little effects with the pets, but I honestly get way too distracted playing with it. I legit feel like my performance dropped significantly when I equipped it and I ended up switching back to my usual skins and instantly started playing better again”.
A lot of players disliked one common visual feature. LakeFeeling8265 explained: “I purchased the Evori Dreamwings bundle for me and my boyfriend and when we went into a game after upgrading the Wand, neither of us could see the others bow only the wand stick”. KangaRogue explained: “The skins in third person POV always appear at the base level”.
Another Redditor, Mirthle, experienced a similar problem. They reported: “The new bundle is super loud! Am I the only one who thinks this? I bought it and it’s amazing but like, the Knife sounds are okay but the gunshots are twice as loud compared to my other guns and it makes listening to stuff like footsteps and callouts almost impossible”.
Now, with the bundle being new, and the Episode just starting, we’re sure the developers will do some tweaking, maybe adjust the colors, or fix the bugged sound levels. Judging by the Valorant players’ first impressions Evori Dreamwings seems to have captured the fans’ hearts. We can’t wait to see the items from bundle used more in-game.
