Situations, where you might need to refund skins, are rare since Valorant skins can already be a tempting purchase. From the perceived boost in your aim to the amazing finishing animations, there’s a lot to like about them. However, you might not always like certain skins, and maybe you may end up regretting your purchase. Fortunately, there is a system in place that allows you to refund your skins.

How To Claim A Refund For Skins in Valorant

To refund your Valorant skins, you need to head to the Riot Games Support website and claim a refund on said skin, if it is still eligible. Follow these few easy steps:

  1. Go to the Riot Support website
  2. Log in using your Riot ID
  3. Click on “Get My Order History” at the bottom of the page
  4. Go down the list to see which items are eligible for a refund. If “Claim a Refund” Is written beside the item, you can try to reverse your purchase

Are There Conditions For A Refund?

It’s important to note that you can only get refunds if the eligibility condition is met, such as the skin being un-upgraded, not used in-game and much more. Here is a complete breakdown of the condition:

  • Can not be skins purchased as a complete bundle (RGX, Reaver, Prime, etc)
  • Can not be skins you have used in-game
  • Can not be Battle Pass Skins (Refunds on the premium Battle passes cannot be processed)
  • Can not be upgraded, only base-level skins are eligible for refunds
  • Can not have owned the skins beyond a period of 14-days

Additionally, with the introduction of Kingdom Credits, we can now purchase items such as sprays, gun buddies, and banner cards from the new currency. Players should note that anything purchased through Kingdom Credits can not be refunded.

How To Get Refunds on Valorant Points

If you ever buy a bundle of VP (without a gift card) that you realize you didn’t need, you can try to get them refunded as long as you haven’t held them for longer than 14 days. Other items that can’t be refunded include:

  • Radianite Points (From Battle Pass and those purchased through VP)
  • Weapon Levels
Used In-game content (Items, Sprays, etc)
  • Weapons once they’ve been upgraded to a bundle through the ‘Complete Bundle’ option

Riot Support reviews each case individually to confirm if you’re eligible for a refund, so in certain cases, you might be able to convince them to hand you a refund. Of course, you’ll need to have a legitimate reason at hand. Until then, be careful with your money and don’t buy skins you aren’t dead set on.
