Movement is a big part of The First Descendant, and the Long Distance Maneuvering module can help you cross great distances easily and quickly. Nexon’s newest looter-shooter game offers players lots of customization options for their Descendants. Although there are a lot of weapon and character mods that will help players create more powerful characters, there are a few that will help you when it comes to simply moving around the world. Stick with us, and let’s find out how to get a Long Distance Maneuvering module.

How to Get Long Distance Maneuvering Module in The First Descendant

Long Distance Manoeuvring modifies a grappling hook distance to 25 meters, but the base charge time goes up to 6 seconds. This is a 20% increase to the base charge time, but it gives the greatest range out of all grappling hook modifications.

As with any module in The First Descendant, this one can be part of the loot dropped during many missions. Some of the mission monsters also have this module in their loot pool, although the chances might be smaller. Although some players are lucky and will just get this module easily, others might have to work for it. Missions that can drop this module are mainly located in the Fortress region. However, there is a way to get the Long Distance Maneuvering mod in the early game.

The Best Ways to Get Long Distance Maneuvering in The First Descendant

There are two regions where players can get the Long Distance Maneuvering mod in the game. The first one at the start of the game, to be more specific, is the Kingston region. Going to the Grand Square part of the Kingston region and doing the Slumber Vally mission on Hard mode gives players a 5% chance of getting this mod. This is a slightly longer mission, but it is the best way to farm this module in the early game.
Another way to get the Long Distance Maneuvering module is in the last region players unlock in the game. Located in the Frozen Vally part of the Fortress region is a mission Munition Loading Dock that can be farmed for this module. The mission is a short one, and on Normal mode, there is a 4.5% chance for the Long Distance Maneuvering mod to drop. While playing the mission in Hard mode, the chance will increase to 5%.
