Even though the focus is on Season 3, Nexon is not stopping with the regular updates. The First Descendant Hotfix 1.2.21 has just gone live, but the players are not that impressed by it.
The first anniversary of The First Descendant is getting closer, and Nexon has announced and even teased some of the special new content prepared for it, like the swimming pool in Albion and the new swimsuits. However, TFD still has a bunch of issues that require the devs’ attention, and a new patch was just released, dealing with some minor improvements and bug fixes. Sadly, it is not what the fans were hoping to see.
The First Descendant Hotfix 1.2.21
On June 26, Nexon released The First Descendant Hotfix 1.2.21. It brings some slight improvements to the store and changes a couple of Sprays. And, as usual, it fixes a bunch of bugs.
Patch Details
(1) Content Improvements
- The placement of the buttons (Select All, Apply, Close) at the bottom in the Descendant selection popup in the Store has been modified for better usability.
- The Shop has been improved to allow purchasing multiple “Attendance Mementos” at once.
- Changed the spray images for “Spring Breeze,” “First Snow,” and “Artist’s Precious Belongings”.
(2) Bug Fixes
The First Descendant Fans Not Exactly Thrilled With Hotfix 1.2.21
The players are so starved for content that even this minor hotfix gets some flak for not adding anything to the game. “Blah nothing to make me wanna login and play. Hope July 3 descendants balance adjustments are big enough to make me wanna go check it out and play.” said one user, and “’m so bored… seriously…this wait for actual new content is not a good feeling. Season 3 being delayed might be the biggest mistake tfd team has ever made. I just hope season 3 is worth it. This is just same old same old.” added another.
While we are aware that Season 3 is getting postponed was not the most popular decision Nexon made, it is for the good of the game. We just need a bit more patience.
