• Contagion Links (Passive) – Increases Toxic Skill Power by the number of nearby enemies inflicted with Poison from Freyna’s skill.
• Venom Trauma – Throws poison to attack target enemy with damage and inflict Room 0 Trauma onto nearby enemies. Creates a Toxic Puddle that poisons enemies on contact.
• Defense Mechanism – Significantly increases DEF. There is a chance of inflicting Room 0 Trauma on enemies upon attack. This DEF increase is cumulative with similar abilities.
• Putrid Venom – Throws toxins to form a Toxic Swamp. Enemies entering the Toxic Swamp receive continuous damage, and become inflicted with Poison and Venom-Soaked. The best Freyna build focuses on improving her Poison skills to deal additional damage as much as possible. Best Weapon for Freyna in The First Descendant

The absolute best gun for Freyna is the Python Submachine Gun. Python reduces the Non-Atributte and Toxic Resistance of enemies hit in their weak spots. Since all of Freyna’s Skills are Toxic, this gun makes every enemy hit more vulnerable to her DoT effects.

Another great choice is the Fallen Hope Assault Rifle. This weapon deals 10% more damage when hitting Poisoned enemies, thanks to its Perdition ability. Moreover, enemies eliminated by this weapon have a chance to trigger an explosion, dealing damage and Poisoning nearby enemies. The more enemies are Poisoned, the more Freyna’s Poison damage increases, so this Rifle greatly improves her damage output.

Weapon Modules

Since Python is the gun you’ll predominantly use, it will benefit from increased firearm ATK and Fire Rate. The more shots you can pour into the target’s Weapon Point, the more you’ll lower the Toxic Resistance. In that regard, here are some Modules that are the best for this build:

Next, you should look for Reactors that either improve Tech Skills (Venom Trauma, Putrid Venom, and Venomous Baptism) or Dimension Skills (Defensive Mechanism). Since the majority of her Skills have the Tech keyword, you should look for Reactors that have “Mechanics” in their title. 

To summarize, the best Reactors for Freyna are Toxic Mechanics Reactors. Toxic Phase Reactors only seriously buff one Skill, and sho they shouldn’t be your go-to choice.

External Components

External Components are there to provide defensive boosts to Descendants, so their other equipment choices can focus on other aspects. They offer defensive buffs, so you should pick those Components that offer the best stats (highest numbers/level).

The best External Components for Freyna are those that improve Max Shields, Max HP, HP Recovery, and DEF.
