Every player has their own approach to the game and how to win it. But, it’s always smart to hear out other ideas, as you might pick up something useful and incorporate it into your gameplay. The same applies to strategies for the World Tour in The Finals, you never know if a tweak to your own might get you Emerald.
The Finals Players Share Their Strategies
Many players agreed that there was one incredibly simple strategy, that seemingly no one uses. This strategy allows the players to take a step back from the chaos and mindless fighting.
One Redditor shared: “Vaults are always 100% more valuable than Cashouts from an effort and time perspective. You might get less for a plug, but it’s much easier to defend a Cashout than steal one. If you have the choice between a Vault to plug and a Cashout that’s half over, your priority should be the plug, unless the math works out that you need the Cashout money”.
Of course, the fighting is what most of the players are here for. Dividebyzero23 noted: “Even if my team knows getting the vault in would give us a better chance it’s more fun to go f**k the team defending”.
Now, for those of you who enjoy combat, nowlickmyfet suggested the best weapons and Gadgets. This player noted: “2x Heavy with Mesh and Hook. For weapons, melee/flame and SA/Lewis, depending on the map situation. And, for the Gadgets, RPG & barricade are a must, then Dome (on the non-mesh guy) and Scan Totem for other Heavy are good picks. The last guy should go Medium with Healbeam + Clutchmines and Pad. Gun depends on map, but can’t go wrong with AK/Famas”.
Pieces of Advice That Could Move You up in The Finals World Tour
Now, most of The Finals players don’t really need full strategies for the World Tour. Sometimes all one needs is just that one solid piece of advice, the last piece of the puzzle, to complete their own strategy.
It might sound obvious, but we all tend to forget that communication is key. So, give clear instructions to your teammates and create a plan together. The team that has one strategy will achieve much more than the team in which every player does their own thing.
One player, keplinkeplar, went a step further than communication. They noted: “If I’m playing solo I always stay on objective because you can’t trust your teammates not to wander off”. Again, if you play to win, and your teammates are goofing around, you better take care of things on your own.
Some players pointed out who you should definitely avoid if you want to win. DedlyX7 said: “If you see guys with no cosmetics equipped, using the default lady skin, run”. IndividualCurious322 added: “I had one earlier who was having fun using the crane while we got slaughtered and the enemy team finished decrypting a key. Lol”.
We suggest you try out some of these strategies, as you can never know what works until you try it out. Also, remember that communication is crucial. Enjoy the game and see you out there, we’re already getting ready for Season 4.
