Act 1 for the Valorant 2025 season is about to commence, bringing a “futuristic-tech” theme, new battle pass items, new skins, and a new agent. The new agent was recently revealed to be Tejo, a Colombian ballistics expert, a nerdier Brimstone if you will.
The new agent release date coincides with the new Act 1 update 10.0 on January 8th. Tejo arrives at 6 am PT / 9 am ET/ 4 am GMT. Servers will be down temporarily but once back online Tejo and the other content will be downloadable.
Tejo’s abilities & ultimate
Tejo’s three main abilities are: Special delivery, Stealth Drone, and Guided Salvo, with the ultimate “Armageddon”.
- Special delivery: EQUIP a sticky grenade. FIRE to launch. The grenade sticks to the first surface it hits and explodes, Concussing any targets caught in the blast. ALT FIRE to launch the grenade with a single bounce instead.
- Stealth Drone: EQUIP a stealth drone. FIRE to throw the drone forward, assuming direct control of its movement. FIRE again to trigger a pulse that Suppresses and Reveals enemies hit.
- Guided Salvo: EQUIP an AR targeting system. FIRE to select up to two target locations on the map. ALT FIRE to launch missiles that autonomously navigate to target locations, detonating on arrival.

The new season and patch 10.00 has plenty on offer, with Tejo taking center stage. The patch brings Fracture and Lotus back into the map pool, the Esports Hub returns, and automatic remake voting has arrived!
