Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League Poison Ivy Explained

Yes, Poison Ivy is in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. However, it is not the Ivy we remember. Following her demise in Batman Arkham Knight, we thought we had seen the last of the redhead eco-terrorist. Surprisingly, Ivy is back but in a smaller form. Moreover, she has grown back from a sprout that she left behind in Arkham Knight. Furthermore, in the new game, she is just a child when she crosses paths with the Suicide Squad.

This new look of the iconic DC villain has sparked much controversy among the fans of the franchise. Firstly her new look is a great change for this iconic Batman villain. Secondly, we are all wondering what this means for her relationship with Harley, considering that the two of them have a long-running love affair across multiple DC properties.

It should be noted that after you help Ivy in the game by protecting her plants from Brainiac’s minions, she will become an NPC vendor akin to Penguin, Toyman, Gizmo and Hack. Because poisons are Ivys’ forte you will be able to apply afflictions to your weapons. Along with giving your weapons different elements, these afflictions come with a drawback, introducing a risk-reward element to the game. For example, frozen enemies are more resistant to melee damage and do not drop ammo when killed.
