How To Reach Ending In Sons Of The Forest
To complete Sons of the Forest, you need to obtain certain items, like the Rebreather, Rope Gun, Shovel, Maintenance Keycard, and Golden Armor. The order is crucial as some items can only be obtained once you have acquired others. For example, you need the Rebreather and Rope Gun to access the Shovel, essential for finding the Maintenance Keycard.

What To Do With The Maintenance Keycard
Once you have the Maintenance Keycard, you can enter the Cross and Golden Armor rooms. The Golden Armor is especially significant as it helps you reach the end of the game. Additionally, on your way to finding the Golden Armor, you’ll trigger a crucial story cutscene where allies will briefly join you in taking down a massive mutant.
After acquiring the Golden Armor, you must take it to the bunker, which is located on the East side of the map (circled in red). The bunker‘s location should also be marked on the game’s map in the form of a green pulsating ping as you approach it.
Upon your arrival at the Bunker, make your way inside and descend the stairs. Take the left door and proceed through the corridors, ensuring to eliminate any lurking mutants in your way. Using powerful weapons such as the Revolver or Katana is advisable since you’ll be facing many enemies here.
At the end of the corridor, go down the stairs again and enter the yellow doors until you reach another corridor. Turn left and continue through the lavish rooms ahead until you see an open door on the right. This leads to an opulent underground penthouse apartment.
In the apartment, take the left door and continue ahead until you turn right and reach a destroyed bathroom. You’ll notice that the left wall of the bathroom actually has a huge hole, with smoke covering the entrance. Proceed through the smoke to find a golden door.

What To Do With The Golden Armor
Equip the Golden Armor and interact with the door to advance further into the caves below. Upon crawling through the gap, you will enter the Golden Cube, where you’ll see a soldier holding a laptop. The soldier will then show you a 15-second countdown on their laptop before freaking out and projecting other images of themselves.
The Ending
As the cube seals, it will open on the other side to reveal a massive writhing mutant, followed by a black screen. When you regain control, you’ll find yourself by a helicopter on the beach. Next, you’ll have two options, and depending on how you proceed, the ending will play out.
