The VIP Keycard is another item that helps you unlock a portion of the map, allowing you to unveil the lore of Sons Of The Forest and get your hands on some nifty rewards and items in the game. The keycard allows you to open different doors with exciting loot behind them that you can use to help you survive the forest. However, if you’ve been wondering where to get the VIP Keycard, you’ve come to the right place!
How To Get The VIP Keycard In Sons Of The Forest
To obtain the VIP Keycard in Sons of the Forest, you need to make a trip to the Food Bunker. This location can be located on your GPS tracker near the beach and the burial spot of your deceased helicopter companion.
Step 1: Enter The Cave
Upon entering the cave, continue on until you come across some ladders leading downwards. Following this path will bring you to a pantry area in the mess hall. You will need the Maintenance Keycard to access the door on the right side of the room.
You must complete the first three caves and acquire the Maintenance Keycard from the Maintenance A Shaft. Once you have the Maintenance Keycard handy, opening the door is a straightforward process. Approach the scanner and interact with it by pressing E (keyboard), X (PlayStation), or A (Xbox) to open the door.

Step 2: Cross The Flooded Section
Upon entering the room, you will discover a collection of plants growing. Among them, you will also locate the Crossbow beside a bandit’s corpse, along with some Crossbow Bolts. You’ll encounter a flooded section of the bunker as you go deeper. Here, it’s recommended that you equip your Rebreather, not necessarily to avoid drowning, but due to the lack of visibility.
Step 3: Obtain The VIP Keycard
You will need to swim through this area until you reach a dark hallway, where a white light will be visible at the far end. Proceed in that direction and locate an open room on the left side. In the corner of the room, on a desk, you will discover the VIP keycard belonging to an executive named Virginia, along with a few valuable items like a Shotgun attachment. Once you have acquired these items, follow the white light at the end of the hallway to exit the cave.
Once you have the VIP Keycard, you’re almost near the end of the game’s storyline.
