As sports fans are gearing up for the Rugby World Cup this September, so too are sports game fans looking forward to the release of Rugby 24. Developed by Big Ant Studios and published by Nacon, the latest rugby sport simulation is ready to tackle its way onto all platforms. Featuring national teams, club play, and plenty of game modes, including Career, there’s a lot to look forward to. So let’s find out when the next Rugby game is going to be released.

What is the release date of Rugby 24?

Rugby 24 is going to be released on September 7, 2023. World rugby fans can rejoice with their favourite sport gracing both the global main stage and their gaming platforms.  In the Rugby World Cup, world champions South Africa are set to defend their trophy in France, but that doesn’t mean that your gaming route has to follow those events. You can take your favourite national team and lead them to an alternate route.

What platforms will Rugby 24 be released on?

Rugby 24 is going to be released on PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One. Whether on consoles or on PC, players can pilot their favourite squads to victory through rucks, mauls, and other fresh ideas they can come up with through gameplay. From the mighty New Zealand team to dozens of other line-ups, rugby fans have a lot to be excited about.

However, many will note that the game is not available for Nintendo Switch. Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem that the platform will see a release just yet. With that said, another popular title from the same publisher and studio, the Cricket series, has been released on the platform before, so there’s still a chance for Rugby 24 launch on Switch.
