Rise of the Ronin is an open-world action role-playing game developed by Team Ninja. It takes place in 19th-century Japan during the Bakumatsu era. You take on the role of a Ronin during some of the most turbulent times in Japan’s history. What is the Release Date for Rise of the Ronin?

Rise of the Ronin will be released worldwide on March 22, 2024. The release date was announced during The Game Awards 2023, and the game was available for pre-order on December 14, 2023. Both Editions of the game will be available on March 22, 2024. Furthermore, the game does not offer Early Access for any players.

Rise of the Ronin will be released for everyone at the same time, at 12 am local time. Moreover, PlayStation accounts are based on your region, so you will not be able to use the “New Zeland trick” to play the game earlier. 

Will Rise of the Ronin going to be released in South Korea?   

Rise of the Ronin will not be released in South Korea. Controversy was sparked after comments comparing Yoshida Shoin, a big advocate for the Japanese annexation of Korea, to Socrates. This statement did not sit well with many Koreans, who took their frustration online to criticize the developers of Team Ninja and called for a boycott of the game. After this, the publisher of the game, Sony Interactive Entertainment stated that the game was never planned to be released in South Korea.
