How To Get Level 3 Keycard in Resident Evil 4 Remake

To get the Level 3 Keycard in Resident Evil 4 Remake, you must first have acquired the Level 1 Keycard. Then you must explore the labs while avoiding Regeneradors and upgrade the Level 1 Keycard twice using Keycard Overwrite Terminals in different areas of the lab.

This area is one of the hardest in the Remake since you cannot kill Regeneradors until you acquire the Biosensor Scope later in the lab.

How To Get Level 1 Keycard in Resident Evil 4 Remake

To get the Level 1 Keycard, you need to head to the room with the Power Control Lever. Flip the lever to light up the right-hand side of the map on display. Then, go to the Dissection room by heading out the door and turning right.

On your right is an Electronic Lock Terminal. You need to solve the power puzzle to open the door and find the Level 1 Keycard on a table at the back of the room.

To solve the Dissection Room power puzzle, you must rotate the square nodes so that power can flow through the system. Use the switch below to change puzzle layers by moving left and right, then rotate the junction symbols with the button to connect the power lines.

The third layer is already correct, so move the switch to the yellow border section, press the button to open the door, and find the Level 1 Keycard.

Beware of the Regenerador that will appear outside the room. You cannot kill them yet.

Head back to the Power Control Switch, and flip interact with it again to switch the power over to the left side. Now head to the location shown in the image below to use the Level 1 keycard to access the Freezer Room.

To get the Level 2 Keycard in Resident Evil 4 Remake, you need to head to the Freezer Room and use the Level 1 Keycard to get inside. The Electronic Lock Terminal in front of you is optional but does get you a new weapon, so we recommend doing it.

This one is more difficult than the first one, as it has four layers instead of only three, so we recommend watching this video on how to solve the Freezer Room Puzzle. It’s the same premise as the first puzzle, just more of it.

This will open the door to the right of the Electronic Lock Terminal. Head inside to get the LE 5 Assualt Rifle.

How To Get Level 2 Keycard in Resident Evil 4 Remake

Now, exit and head right to the back of the room to find a Keycard Overwrite Terminal. Place your Level 1 Keycard in it and then prepare, as Regenerador will appear, and you’ve got a few minutes to kill before your Keycard gets upgraded to Level 2.

You still can not kill these, so evade these and shoot their legs to incapacitate them for a while. Keep your eye on the progress bar on the terminal display, as when it goes dark, the overwrite is complete. Interact with it to get the Level 2 Keycard.

Now head back to the corridor where the Power Control Lever is while evading all Regeneradors. But instead of going left to that room, continue onwards to find a door that needs a Level 2 Keycard. Use it, go inside, and head down to Systems, then the Incubation Lab. Killing Ganados if you want.

Once in the Incubation Lab, head toward the back of the room to find another Keycard Overwrite Terminal; however, for this one, you need a Wrench to remove the grating. To the left of the terminal, you’ll also find a Biosensor Scope. Equip Biosensor Scope to any Sniper Rifle you have immediately.

How To Get the Wrench in Resident Evil 4 Remake

To get the Wrench in Resident Evil 4 Remake, go into the room with the Regeneradors in the glass tanks. Use your new Biosensor Scope, and look at each one through it as the Wrench is inside a Regenerador.

Once the Regenerador with the Wrench is found, shoot the red pulsating spots inside it; these are weakpoints and how to kill them. Do this twice, and the Regenerador will explode. Grab the Wrench from its corpse. Go back to the Keycard Overwrite Terminal, use the Wrench, and then use the Level 2 Keycard, and once again, prepare. Very much like the first overwrite, this takes time, you have to survive a couple of minutes again, Ganados, for it to get updated to Level 3.

Stay in the room when you get attacked, as you do not want to shatter the glass on any of the Regenerador, as this will awaken them.

After the process is complete, go back to the Level 3 Keycard door between you and Ashley, and progress further into Resident Evil 4 Remake.
