On the day of its launch, Persona 5 Tactica will be released on all the following platforms simultaneously. For the Nintendo crowd, the game will be released on Nintendo Switch. Owners of next-gen consoles will be able to play the game on the newest consoles the market has to offer, namely PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The game will also be playable on previous iterations of the PlayStation and Xbox consoles, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Lastly, owners of PCs will be able to enjoy the game on Windows 10 via the Steam platform.

In Persona 5 Tactica players take control of the Phantom Thieves of Hearts as they find themself in an alternate world. This new world is oppressed and ruled over by the Legion. Phantom Thieves are quickly labelled as rebels and have to fight for their survival aided by the mysterious leader of the Rebel Corps, Ellie.
The game is a spin-off of the Persona series. Persona 5 Tactica is a tactical role-playing game with classic turn-based combat on a grid map. It includes staple game mechanics of the Persona series, like elemental affinities, summoning, and fusion.
