According to several Palworld players, the latest update caused several different glitches on Xbox. These bugs vary in their severity. At the time of writing this article, there hasn’t been any official announcement on how or when they’ll be fixed. Have you faced any of these bugs?
The Update Caused Major Glitches in Palworld
Some devoted Xbox players reported their worlds resetting following the update. Affectionate-Yak2137 stated: “My 398-day world got restarted and I don’t know. I’m in shambles, does anyone have a fix or experiencing the same thing”.
One-Asian-Guy seconded that statement. They noted: “Just happened to me on Xbox too. Shame there’s no backing up worlds on Xbox. Was playing for hours just fine. Crashed a few times like normal then after one of the crashes got the map and tutorial reset like many other Xbox players”.
Most players reported experiencing just that, the game crashing and when it’s restarted the map was reset. Relative_Housing9896 said: “Map gone, Xbox update sucks. Everything is gone except base locations. When I first started playing the game, everything was fine. Then it froze. After resetting, the map and all markers were gone”.
Being a helpful community, Palworld players offered some solutions, but unfortunately, none of them worked. Several players suggested that when an update drops you should wait for all potential bugs to be fixed before you play. Honestly, with the player base overly excited for an update, this is easier said than done.
Xbox Players Have to Be Patient And Wait for the Glitches to Be Fixed
Some very unlucky Xbox players experienced even more severe glitches after the Palworld update. TonightSubstantial42 shared “Palworld isn’t working on Xbox. I’ve tried everything and I still get stuck on the black screen of death. I got on an alt account and it loaded just fine if anyone can tell me how to fix plz let me know”.
Unfortunately, these seem to be persistent bugs, as some players complained of experiencing them before. MrShad0wzz explained: “While I get that it’s a beta, this bug comes back with every update. I excused them the first two times it happened but now this is getting a bit ridiculous”.
In a situation like this, the best thing that you can do is wait. Be patient, don’t try to fix it, as you probably won’t succeed. Just wait for the next patch and for the devs to fix the problems. We know that’s a lot of waiting, but it’s better to be patient for a couple of days than to lose all your progress. We sincerely hope that the devs are working on this issue and that it won’t be a problem in future updates. Good luck and may the devs work in your favor.
