Once Human Players Have No Qualms Supporting This F2P Game

Once Human is a free-to-play game, meaning that you don’t have to invest a single cent in it. Still, many players gladly give their hard-earned money to support this game. What is so special about Once Human that so many players are supporting it even though it’s technically F2P?

If You Like Once Human, Supporting It is a Valid Option

One player, Strongear971, shared their point of view. They said: “Just spent 100e on this F2P. I have a principle: if it’s free, it will remain free. I NEVER paid for a cosmetic except once in LoL. And here I am, spending 100e in one shot to make my kawaii base. Those devs deserved it. This game is good. I have no regrets”.

Other players chimed in with the praise. Lots of them reported supporting this F2P game by buying the Once Human Battle Pass. Philosopher_1234 stated: “I’ve decided to buy the BP because this game is definitely worth the support”. Thatonedude2233 added: “I did the same however that steel-frame glass house set is so tempting. I cannot justify spending 50$ for it though”.

Several players confirmed the steel-frame house of glass could actually be a great asset. Mediocre_Cream631 explained: “If you or a friend get it, you can skin up to 4 of your friends’ houses. That’s the most consumer-friendly thing I ever heard of”. You could probably make it extremely cost-effective by splitting the price.

Some Players Can’t Justify Paying a Lot For an F2P Game

While most players gladly offered their paychecks to Once Human, some still thought the prices were too steep. Stornholio69 noted: “While I do believe that “good” F2P games deserve a payer base, there is no way 100€ is justified by any means. Monetization, while cosmetic only at least, is so horrendously expensive that there is no way ever I would spend a single dime”.

SpuddyPrice stated: “You can disagree with me on this but the publisher is NetEase. The biggest Chinese publisher out there. Not some small indie company. They have enough money that they don’t need “support” money. Just buy what you really want and don’t give more for “support” as it’s really not necessary”.

Honestly, there aren’t many good real free-to-play games, and Once Human seems to be one of them. We’d suggest you follow your own sense when you are deciding if something is worth purchasing. We love supporting the developers who made a good F2P game, but at the end of the day, they made it F2P, so don’t feel pressured to invest in it. Just enjoy the game and if you really like something, treat yourself.
