My Singing Monsters How To Breed G’joob – The Two Best Ways

My Singing Monsters being collected with G'joob in the foreground.

My Singing Monsters has a plethora of Monsters that you can buy if you have enough Gold lying around and through breeding, if you don’t have the required coins. One of the game’s classes is the elusive Mythical Monsters, to which the G’joob Monster belongs. However, despite being an elusive mythical breed, the lazy, walrus-looking monster provides little to no productivity. While G’joob is also hard to obtain, it’s the Monster’s rarity and cool looks that truly compels players to add it to their collections. That said if you want to get your G’joob, look no further, as this guide will explain everything there is to know about how to breed a G’joob in My Singing Monsters.

How To Get G’joob

Unless you’ve got a thick wallet, we don’t recommend wasting your valuable Diamonds on a G’joob. However, there’s an alternate route you can opt for to obtain a G’joob, and that is the breeding method, which allows you to save your precious Diamonds for a better Monster.

However, G’joob has very low breeding chances due to its rarity. Don’t worry, though, there are a couple of methods you can use to increase the probability of securing a G’joob through breeding

1. Keep Breeding T-Rox With Pummel

Breeding a T-Rox and a Pummel on Plant Island is your best bet for a G’joob egg. Ironically, both T-Rox and Pummel are only obtainable through breeding as well. That said, it’s recommended that your T-Rox and Pummel have high levels, at least above 15 since this will further help even out the odds of you scoring a G’joob.

In addition to obtaining a G’joob, there’s an extra benefit to the mentioned breeding combination: getting Rare Noggins or Rare Toe Jammers. However, you’ll only have a probability of getting these Monsters if they’re already on sale in the in-game store.

2. Light Wishing Torches

If there’s one thing that increases your G’Joob breeding odds significantly, though not completely, it’s the lit Wishing Torches. Imbued with magical powers, these torches can increase the chances of breeding a rare Monster, such as a G’joob. All you need to do is place 10 Wishing Torches near the G’joob Breeding grounds and wait for your egg.

The good thing is, that the Wishing Torches don’t cost much either, coming in at just 5000 Gold Coins. However, lighting a torch for 24 hours will cost you two Diamonds. Alternatively, you can pay 100 Diamonds to have a Wishing Torch permanently lit.

If you’re not heavy on Diamonds, you can also ask your in-game friends to visit your profile and light any of your Wishing Torches, which are near the breeding grounds for G’joob. The Wishing Torches lit by friends will stay lit for 24 hours.

What Is A G’joob?

G’joob is a Mythical Monster, and like any other Mythical breed, it was a PS Vita exclusive until support for the handheld console ended in 2019. Later that year, Mythical Monsters, including G’joob, were added to the mobile version of the game. Now if you’re looking to get your hands on the Mythical Monster, you can get G’joobs for 500 Diamonds upon hitting level nine.

As a surprise to no one, they also occupy three-bed spaces and take four tiles, which is not much given their size. In addition, G’joobs can only inhabit three Islands: the Plant Island, the Mirror Plant Island, and the Mythical Island. That said, what you should be aching to know is how much Gold Coins can the rare G’joob net you.

How Much Gold Coins Does A G’joob Produce?

Despite G’joob’s rare nature, its Gold Coins productivity is unfortunately quite low if you compare it to its Mythical brethren. While G’joob counterparts can generate over 100,000 Gold Coins per day, a max level G’joob will yield you only 39,698 Coins a day. Although, this is somewhat understandable since the Monster likes to doze off under a tree for most of the day.
