An update is on its way! Several days after (some of) the content was leaked, the devs shared all the details, as was previously scheduled. Monster Hunter Wilds is getting its Second Free Title Update on June 30! So, let’s dive into all the details!
What Will the Second Title Update Bring to Wilds?
The developers shared the exciting news on all official Monster Hunter social media profiles. Starting off strong, they shared the trailer for the upcoming Title Update on the official YouTube channel. As always, the trailer is quite cinematic! And it showcases all the fun content that is to come.
At the very end of the trailer, the devs showed the updated map of the Free Title Updates. So, the Second Title Update will bring Lagiacrus and Seregios to Monster Hunter Wilds on June 30. At the same time, layered weapons and various additional features will be added.
We’ll list a few of the new features. First, you’ll be able to switch your handler accompanying you in the field to Eric once you complete the Lagiacrus mission. Second, a new support hunter, Mina, will join the hunt! Finally, the Photo Mode will be improved.
Of course, more changes will be made at a later date! So, the Festival of Accord: Flamfete starts on July 23 and it will last until August 6. Next, from July 30 to August 20, you’ll get an opportunity to hunt the AT Uth Duna and get special rewards! Furthermore, this Title Update also comes with a special collab! The Street Fighter 6 collab was fun, but the Fender collab will be absolutely epic!
Hunters Can’t Wait to Face the New Monsters
Monster Hunter WIlds players were quite satisfied with the devs’ choices for the Second Free Title Update. They especially liked the two new monsters – Lagiacrus and Seregios! Naturally, they gladly shared their enthusiasm.
CleR6 noted: “VERY excited about both these beasts. Lagiacrus looks beautiful and I think I’ll like the small underwater parts of the fight”. Another player, SilverDrifter, added: “SEREGIOS is my fave flying monster in Rise. Iβm so hyped! I thought Lagi would be my most anticipated monster for TU2, but they really just pulled out Seregios”.
What do you think? Will the devs manage to overturn all the negative reviews they received recently? There’s so much potential that we’d hate to see the player numbers drop once more. If you are thinking of joining the game for the Title Update, you’re in luck, as it’s on sale! So, dear hunter, we’ll see you around, and, of course, happy hunting.
