Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is set to launch this Friday, and players are eager to see how it will stack up against its acclaimed predecessor, Jedi: Fallen Order. The upcoming title promises a cast of new and returning characters in addition to all-new enemies and biomes, so it just may deliver in all departments.

Each planet features quests, collectibles, and story progression. This larger map and more extensive locations has led to Jedi Survivor having a larger file size.

In an interview with PLAY Magazine, game director Stig Asmussen talked a bit about what the development team learned from the release of Jedi: Fallen Order and how its sequel might add to the series on next-gen systems like PlayStation 5. Asmussen went on to say, “We learned quickly that we could take advantage of the faster processors, larger/faster memory, better loading times, etc., to create larger maps with more detail, greater density, broader enemy/NPC variety, and overall fidelity.”
This statement confirms what franchise fans have been theorizing about since we learned that Jedi: Survivor will be exclusive to PC and next-gen consoles. While those who main older systems might miss out on a chance to play, the exclusivity of the new title does seem to promise a much larger in-game world accompanied by top-tier graphics and gameplay features.
