STAR WARS Jedi: Survivor is one of the biggest releases of the year, and the first wave of players is now able to jump into the action-packed RPG. The new title follows up after the events of Jedi: Fallen Order, promising even more impressive combat and enemies than the 2019 installment.
It’s no secret that the Jedi series can be challenging with narratively-driven gameplay that drives you through the open-world and offers few Meditation points to rest and restore your health. This trend continues in Jedi: Survivor, and those who have had the chance to play at launch are now experiencing first-hand just how important it is to heal.
So, how do you heal in Jedi: Survivor? Fortunately, you have a couple of different options. Let’s go over the details.

How Do You Heal in Jedi: Survivor?
In order to heal in Jedi: Survivor, you can do one of two things:
- Rest and restore your health at a Meditation point
- Ask BD-1 to hand Cal a Stim
Meditation points are pretty scattered throughout the game, so resting to restore your health isn’t always a viable option. Although, if you do have the opportunity to use one, we definitely recommend making the most of it.
It’s far more convenient to interact with Cal’s droid companion, BD-1, and ask it to hand you a Stim. This is done by pressing up on your D-Pad (PlayStation and Xbox), and it replenishes a solid amount of health.
However, you’ll need to bear in mind that this likely won’t heal you in full if you’ve taken a significant amount of damage. You also have a limited supply of Stims, so it’s best to use them sparingly, or else risk running out when you most need to heal.
Luckily, there’s a way to carry more Stims, which will allow you to heal up as needed.
How Do You Carry More Stims in Jedi: Survivor?
To carry more Stims, you’ll need to upgrade your carrying capacity. This can be a great investment, as you’re sure to face even stronger enemies as the game progresses. While Stims may not heal you in full, they can be life-saving items to have on hand in a pinch.
If you do elect to upgrade your carrying capacity, this should be done early on when it’s cheaper to do so. However, doing this will delay further upgrades, so you may want to weigh your options if you don’t rely too heavily on Stims to heal.
How Do You Replace Stims in Jedi: Survivor?
Fortunately, replenishing your supply of Stims is made easy in Jedi: Survivor. To replace your used supply, simply rest at the nearest Meditation point, which will additionally save the progress you’ve made.
Healing is one of the most crucial tasks in Jedi: Survivor, especially for those playing on a higher difficulty setting. As long as you have Stims on hand, you should be able to heal up well enough until you reach the next Meditation point.
