How to Defeat Digging Droids in Jedi Survivor

Cal Kestis and his droid partner BD-1

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is full of enemies, ranging from terrible Sith Lords, to Storm Troopers, and even deadly droids. It will take all of Cal’s skill and lightsaber mastery to defeat this, including the Digging Droid. These enemies can be extremely annoying, even for veterans of action-adventure games.

As you explore the planet Koboh, you’ll come across these droids that quickly bury themselves when approached, making it challenging to engage them using the Force. In this guide, we’ll show you how to catch and eliminate these burying droids in Jedi Survivor.

How to Beat Scavneger Droids in Star Wars Jedi Survivor

To kill a digging droid in Star Wars Jedi Survivor, swiftly sprint towards it once you spot it and launch a quick attack with your lightsaber. A single slash or stab is usually sufficient to eliminate the droid in one hit. BD-1 can scan the droid after you defeat it, revealing that these droids are called Scavenger Droids and exhibit unique behavior compared to other enemies in the game. We’ve tried throwing our lightsaber at them, but haven’t had much luck.

Scavenger Droids are easily startled and will flee at the slightest threat. They will burrow into the ground if they remain undamaged for too long. It’s important to note that they are resistant to Force abilities, so rely on physical attacks to defeat them. Each successful defeat of a digging droid rewards you with a Priorite Shard. If a droid manages to burrow before you can defeat it, simply rest at a Meditation Point to respawn all remaining Scavenger Droids.

I encountered my first digging droid in either the Sodden Grotto in Rambler’s Reach on Koboh. The Sodden Grotto is situated near a small battle arena where you confront the Jedi Survivor Rancor boss during the “Find Missing Prospectors” mission.
