Star Wars has made a big step into video games over the past few years. Star Wars games have seen more success recently than they have in decades, since the release of the original Battlefront II. The Star Wars Jedi series is core to that success.
The Star Wars Jedi series follows Cal Kestis, a young Jedi left to fight on his own in the aftermath of Order 66. The series’ ability to build the Star Wars universe, while also giving players access to using the Force and lightsabers inside of a Dark Souls-esque combat system, made it an instant hit with players
For those newer to these games, this guide will go over the titles in the Star Wars Jedi series, so that players will enjoy them in the order they are meant to be enjoyed in.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor follows the same cast as the previous game. The game takes place five years after the events of Fallen Order. Cal Kestis is now a Jedi Knight and continues in his fight to overthrow the empire and rebuild the Jedi Order.
The series is narrative-focused. While players can dive straight into Jedi Survivor, it is recommended that they play Fallen Order beforehand. If a player would like to go straight into Jedi Survivor, plot summaries or video playthroughs can help get them up to speed with the story.
