With every trailer for the upcoming Tears of the Kingdom, fans are speculating on what innovations the title will bring. Recent revelations such as the inclusion of different vehicles and unique weapons have sparked a discussion surrounding whether crafting will play a role in this latest installment.

Is there Crafting In Tears Of The Kingdom?

Yes, there will be crafting in Zelda Tears Of The Kingdom, this was confirmed by Mr. Aonuma’s during his gameplay demonstration.

The trailer also show Link doing various things that he wasn’t able to in Breath of the Wild. This includes him riding both land-based and sky-based vehicles to move around the map. These vehicles are notably marked with the symbol of Zonai, who are known in The Legend of Zelda Series for their unique art style and architecture, as well as their connection to powerful magic and ancient relics.

However, that’s not all, viewers have also spotted symbols that hint at the possibility of weapon crafting, as this symbol is also visible on a cannon that Link is seen swinging in the trailer, suggesting that there may be a connection between all of these items. Zonai relics could be scattered all over Hyrule for Link to collect and use to construct his own weapons. 

This expansion of the player’s arsenal in Tears of the Kingdom could definitely encourage players to experiment and forage through the map more. Perhaps it would allow players to make use of many of the items that did nothing but take up space in Breath of the Wild. It would be the kind of linear improvements we’re used to seeing from The Legend of Zelda series, the kind that make each game a unique experience.
