Does the Resident Evil 4 Separate Ways DLC Support Multiplayer?
The Resident Evil 4 Separate Ways DLC will not be supporting multiplayer or contain any multiplayer modes. The new add-on is strictly a single-player experience. This would make sense considering this add-on is a remake of the extra campaign that was added to the PS2 version of the original Resident Evil 4.
It also makes sense since the base game of the Resident Evil 4 remake does not contain any multiplayer at all. The Separate Ways DLC is an add-on that will cost $9.99, and requires the base game in order to play.
Players will have an AI companion throughout some parts of the Separate Ways campaign, but does not support online or local multiplayer to replace the companion with a human player. The campaign is a single-player mode just like Leon Kennedy’s campaign in the remake of Resident Evil 4.
