Will Mortal Kombat 1 Be on Xbox One?
Mortal Kombat 1 will not be coming to the Xbox One. Developer NetherRealm Studios and publisher Warner Bros. Games have decided to leave the past generation of consoles behind to focus on the current hardware.
That will also include on the PlayStation side as well, since the game will not appear on the PS4. Those still stuck on the older consoles and would like to play the fighting series can pick up Mortal Kombat X and Mortal Kombat 11.
Is Mortal Kombat 1 on Xbox Series X|S?
The game will be launching for both Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S when it launches on September 19. Although, players who get the Premium or Kollector’s Editions will be able to start playing on September 14.
Is Mortal Kombat 1 on Xbox Game Pass?
Mortal Kombat 1 will not be added to the Game Pass catalog when it launches on the first day alongside the other versions. Those subscribed to the service will still have to pay for the full game to play when it releases.
It may come to Xbox Game Pass in the future, though no plans have been confirmed so far. The base game of Mortal Kombat 11 is currently available on Xbox Game Pass at the time of this writing, so it is possible the sequel could make appearance at some point.
