Wondering if Call of Duty DMZ is crossplay? Then you’ve come to the right place. For those new to DMZ, or wondering what the free-to-play mode entials, you play as a small team sent into the Demiliterised Zone with the aim of going in and getting out with as much high value loot as possible.
Set across segemnts of the Warzone 2 maps, you’re able to complete missions, take down bosses and raid strongholds to pick up rewards and loot. You’ll need to be careful, though, as other teams will often wait at Exfil sites and pounce when you’re least expecting it. Should this happen, you’ll leave the DMZ with nothing and need to go in again. But is the mode crossplay? Here’s what you need to know.
Is DMZ crossplay?
Yes. DMZ supports crossplay, which means you’re able to play with friends regardless of what console they are playing on. It will also work across generations, so if you’re playing on PS4, the you can play with a friend who has a PS5, for example. While this is advanteagous, playing on different platforms can give some people an advantage. PC users, for example, may have greater field of view distance and improved input delay. For that reason, you may want to disable crossplay if you’re not playing with friends.

- Load up the game and head to the main menu
- Click settings and then account
- On the Network tab turn crossplay ‘off’
- Crossplay will now be disabled
