Diablo 4 is fast approaching – with an open beta weekend arriving incredibly soon. The beta will give players across a number of platforms a chance to experience the game ahead of the full release.
But will Diablo 4 be on PS4? And if it is, will you be able to upgrade to the PS5 version? Here’s everything you need to know.

Is Diablo 4 on PS4?
Diablo 4 has been confirmed by Blizzard for the PS4, as well as the PS5. You’ll also be pleased to know that you’ll be able to upgrade the PS4 version to the PS5 version of the game for no extra cost.
You’ll be able to upgrade the digital PS5 version of the game at no additional cost, while those with the PS4 disc will need a PS5 console with a disc drive in order to upgrade.
The edition you want is the cross-gen bundle. which includes:

- Includes PS4™ and PS5™ versions of the game
- Access to the early access period and the open beta
Diablo 4 promises a huge world, filled with Bosses, PVP zones and areas for players to trade. Blizzard has confirmed a livestream on February 28 will cover Open Beta details and more. For now, we know the beta will give players an extended look of the Prologue.
