What Are the Steps for Qualifying for Fortnite’s FNCS Major 2 Grand Finals?
The steps to qualify are as follows:
- Play in competitive FNCS weekly sessions
- Earn points in the first two days of competition to enter the weekly final
- Earn Series Points based on your placement in the weekly final
- Be in the top 40 Series Points earners at the end of the competition
Every week starting April 13, there will be open FNCS weekly sessions. The first two days, Thursday and Friday will be open to all players. You and your duo will earn points based on your placements over those two days.
If you and your duo can claim one of the top 50 scores in your region, you’ll move on to the FNCS Major 2 weekly finals. How you place here determines the Series Points you earn.

What is the schedule for Fortnite’s FNCS Major 2?
The schedule for the FNCS weekly sessions is as follows:
- April 13 to April 16
- April 20 to April 23
- April 27 to April 30
- May 5 to May 7
At the end of these four weeks, if you are in the top 40 duos in the region in Series Points, you will qualify for the FNCS Major 2 Finals. This takes place from May 12 to May 14.
What spots from FNCS Major 2 go to the FNCS Global Championship 2023?
The best duos for each region in the FNCS Major 2 Finals will also move on to the FNCS Global Championship 2023. The number of spots per region is as follows:
- Europe – Top 5 duos
- North America East – Top 2 duos
- North America West – Top duo
- Brazil – Top duo
- Oceania – Top duo
- Middle East– Top duo
- Asia – Top duo
