If you are not in the vicinity of any river or stream, another way to quench your thirst is to consume water-restoring items such as the Yarrow – the white flowers. Since you can find these plant crops growing all over the island, they can be a great way to stave off thirst until you can reach the nearest river or stream.

Where to find a Flask or Water Collector in Sons Of The Forest

Sons Of The Forest allows the player to craft items like the Flask and a Water Collector, allowing you to store water for later use. These items will be useful, especially when you are looking to embark on inland expeditions where access to fresh water is scarce.  

You can make a water container through one of the many 3D printers on the island. To print a Flask, approach a 3D Printer, press R until you see a Flask on the screen, and then press E to print it.

Once you find the nearest river or stream in Sons Of The Forest, simply approach it, look down, and press E to drink the water when you get the prompt.
