In Dead Island 2, early on in the game, you may notice a locked toolbox on the back of a white truck outside Emma Jaunts’ house as Michael shows you the back entrance on your way to the Halperin Hotel. This is one of the first locked objects that you’ll come across in the game. If you’re wondering how to obtain the Landscaper Keys to unlock Eddie’s Toolbox, here’s a guide that can help.
Dead Island 2 – Landscaper Keys location – Eddie’s Toolbox
If you’re looking to unlock Eddie’s Toolbox in Dead Island 2, you’ll need to find the Landscaper Keys. This can be a bit tricky, as you won’t be able to access them until you’ve made it to mission 20 in the game, called Boardwalking the Dead.
During this mission, you’ll fight a new type of zombie in a boss fight called Butcho the Clown. Once you’ve defeated him, a new kind of zombie called the Butcher will spawn into the game. It’s important to note that the Landscaper Keys won’t spawn until you’ve defeated Butcho and unlocked this new type of zombie.

Once you’ve completed the mission, travel back to Bel-Air and, specifically, Colt Swanson’s mansion. Here, you’ll find a new Butcher zombie called Green Thumb Eddie. All you need to do is kill him and loot the Landscaper Keys from his corpse.
With the keys in hand, head back to Emma Jaunt’s house and unlock the toolbox on the back of the white truck to get your reward. We got a Machine Pistol, but your reward may differ.
