There is no place in Hogwarts Legacy more revered than the Headmaster’s office. There should only be one person allowed inside, and that would be Headmaster Phineas Nigellus Black. In light of the fact that it is his office, he would want a password that is close to his heart.

You get the password to the Headmaster’s office during The Polyjuice Plot quest.

During the quest, you drink a Polyjuice Potion to change your look and voice to that of Headmaster Nigellus Black. You’ll be tasked with finding Scrope, the house elf for Professor Black, and you can speak to him about the password.
Scrope will be suspicious at first, but make sure to give these answers to the house elf:
- You dare question me?
- It’s to do with purity of blood
You will then receive the password.
Before attempting this quest, we recommend unlocking Alohomora level three. You can open a good deal of level three locks for rewards. You can return to the room afterward if it’s too late.
How To Enter the Headmaster’s Office in Hogwarts Legacy
After completing the mission, you can return to the office whenever you like, without needing to drink any Polyjuice Potions. Regardless of how long you stay there, you won’t see Headmaster Black since he won’t come in. So take your time and do a nice tour before leaving.
In the nearby trophy room, there is a Floo Flame location, so you won’t have to run back far if you don’t have Alohomora level three yet.
