How to Find Fezandipiti
As part of the main storyline, you will have fought Fezandipiti as one of the Titan Pokémon by the end of your main quest in The Teal Mask. Luckily, you’ll be able to find the Pokémon hovering over the same place where you previously fought it. If you don’t recall the location, all you have to do is fly over to The Fallen Horn, as marked on the map below.
Once you reach the landmark, you can glide to the eastern side of Oni Mountain. Here you can spot the bird-like Pokémon near the edge of a cliff. You can now walk towards it to initiate an interaction.
Although you have already defeated Fezandipiti before, you may think all you have to do is repeat the same strategy. Unfortunately, the avian Pokémon has now learned from its first defeat and developed a different move set. So now, the real challenge begins.
How to Catch Fezandipiti
First things first, we suggest that you save your game before you engage with Fezandipiti. This save tactic comes in handy in case you knock it out accidentally without saving since otherwise, you’ll have to wait for a while before the Pokémon respawns.
With our save-precaution set in place, it’s game time. To understand how to battle Feznadipiti, you need to analyze his weaknesses and strengths. A quick look at the Pokémon’s stats below suggests that using a Steel Pokémon would be the wise choice against the bird. That said, let’s first have a look at Fezandipiti’s strengths and weaknesses:
Type | Poison and Fairy |
Weakness | Ground, Steel, and Psychic |
Resistant | Grass, Dark, Fairy, Fighting, and Bug |
Immune | Dragon |
Abilities | Toxic Chain (severely poisons the enemy when they are hit) and Technician (Hidden Ability; grants a 50% increase in power for moves that have a base power of 60 or less) |
Additionally, you should bring Timer Balls or Ultra Balls to catch Fezandipiti since it has a ridiculously low catch rate of 1.6%. So, you’ll need the extra catch rate buff from the Timer/Ultra Balls as the battle progresses.
The best strategy to catch the feathered Pokémon would be to paralyze it and wait for its health to chip away as the battle progresses. When its health is critically low, you can throw a Timer Ball at it for a chance to capture it. We recommend using the Rock/Steel hybrid-type Probopass with Thunder Wave to paralyze Fezandipiti before spamming Timer Balls at it when the Pokémon is at low health.
