In Dead Island 2, players can come across a garage belonging to the former movie star, Curtis. To gain access to the garage, players must obtain the Curtis’ Garage Key. This key is not inside the mansion but inside the garage itself, making it a bit tricky to find. This guide will provide the necessary information to obtain the Dead Island 2 Curtis’ Garage Key location and unlock the garage gate.
Dead Island 2 Curtis’ Garage Key Location
The Dead Island 2 Curtis’ Garage Key is located inside Curtis’ garage, and to access it, you’ll need to crawl through a gap at the back of the garage. The garage is in the front driveway of Curtis’ mansion and can be accessed by heading left of the locked iron gate entrance and flipping the switch between the two large black garage doors next to the black car.
Once the switch is flipped, the left side door opens up, releasing a group of zombies you’ll need to fend off before heading inside.

Once inside, make your way toward the back of the garage, where you’ll find a wooden crate that you’ll need to break open with a weapon. After breaking the crate, crouch down and head through the crawl space to reach the other side of the garage.
You’ll find the Dead Island 2 Curtis’ Garage Key on the workbench to the left of the iron gate. Approach the iron gate and interact with the prompt to unlock it and make accessing the workbench easier in the future.
While inside Curtis’ garage, grab the Reinforced perk from the table, gather any materials you can find on the shelves towards the back, and fix up your weapons at the workbench.
