Call of Duty: Warzone 2 has added a lot of innovation to the Battle Royale genre, taking nods from its arcade shooter roots to influence its gameplay. From Gulag 1v1’s to getting back on the map to buy stations to spend money earned in the match, Warzone 2 is filled with interesting mechanics and items. Arguably the most useful item is the Redeploy Pack.
Redeploy Packs are not a very common item, so it is possible that a player may not have seen one, or know what they do. This guide will give players a heads-up as to where they can be found, and why they should prioritize getting one early on in the match.
How Do You Get a Redeploy Pack In Warzone 2?
There are three ways to get a redeploy pack in Warzone 2:
- Find it as a rare drop among regular ground loot
- Purchase one from a Buy Station for $6000
- Successfully clear a Stronghold or Black Site
The first option is the least consistent, but also the least dangerous. Play the game long enough and keep your eyes on the loot and players will find one eventually. The drop is very rare, so players shouldn’t rely on this method, but it has no requirements otherwise.

The second method is more consistent, but not guaranteed. Buy Stations can sometimes sell the Redeploy Pack for $6000. However, these are limited stock items, meaning Buy Stations selling them will only have one. If another player is the first to buy it, that Buy Station will be unable to sell more.
Not all Buy Stations sell them either, as the limited stock items can change. Checking a Buy Station when a player has extra money is a good method, but there is one method that guarantees the drop.
Clearing a Stronghold or Black Site will automatically award a player with a Redeploy pack upon successful clearing. This is the most dangerous of the possible methods, as Strongholds and Black Sites are guarded by AI soldiers, and are targets for other players as well.
Expect some kind of fight in these areas. Still, the risk is worth it, as the player will always receive a Redeploy Pack, among a number of other rewards such as equipment and a loadout.
These methods will get players a Redeploy Pack fairly quickly, but there is still one more question. What does a Redeploy Pack do to make all this trouble worth it?
What Does a Redeploy Pack Do in Warzone 2?
The Redeploy Pack allows a player to redeploy back onto the map after death, skipping the Gulag. What’s more, if the player dies again while the Gulag is still active, they can still participate in their 1v1 to revive once more. Players who played the original Warzone will recognize this mechanic, as it works very similarly to Redeploy Tokens.
The possibility for an extra chance, as well as the ability to skip the Gulag, is an incredibly strong mechanic. While it should be noted that players respawn in the same way as if they had won their Gulag match, will little money and only basic equipment, the importance of a second life can’t be overstated.

The Redeploy Pack does not take a backpack slot and will activate automatically upon death. For those playing on teams, it is worth noting that the Redeploy Pack is for individual use only. It will only revive the person who has the pack, not anyone else on the team.
Now players should know exactly how to get their hands on this powerful piece of equipment. Anyone who has won a Gulag match knows the importance of a second chance at victory. Making sure that chance is 100% is more than worth the risk of getting one. Especially with Warzone Ranked approaching, this knowledge will be more useful than ever.
