Overwatch 2 – How To Add Players on Switch Offline
First comes adding players on switch offline. Of course, to do this you’ll need either two joy cons or a pair of joy cons and a controller. To be more specific, you’ll need the same number of joy cons/controllers as the number of players playing, with four being the maximum number of players that can play at once.
When the controllers are connected to the Nintendo Switch, you need to hold both the L and R buttons at once on every controller to ensure the game recognizes the controller is being used by a separate player.
To check if a controller has been recognized, look at the food truck on the main menu. Every time a player becomes active or identified by the game, they enter the food truck, so say three people want to play. In this case, there will be three players inside the food truck when all three of them become active, and player one can choose which mode or World to play.
Finally, if a player wants to leave, then return to the home menu, and press the B button from that player’s controller or joy con. The player disconnecting will be represented with the food truck having one less character in it.

Overwatch 2 – How To Add Players on Switch Online
When it comes to playing online with friends in Overcooked 2, players just have to follow the below-mentioned steps:
- First, launch the Overcooked 2 game and get all the way to the main menu (the screen with the food truck).
- Then, press X to navigate to the online inviting box near the bottom right of the screen. When here, click on invite.
- As soon as you click on invite your friend list will pop up. Look for the friend or friends you want to play with, click on their names, and select the invite option from the pop-up menu.
- Finally, the friend or friends you invited will have to accept the invite, after which they’ll be shown inside the food truck alongside your character.
- After everyone has joined, start whatever mode you want and your friends will be in the game with you.
