Believe it or not, Joel decided to give an extra treat to all devoted players. A new Major Order arrived mere hours after the amazing update and Helldivers 2 players were given an opportunity to organize their forces as they pleased. It’s time to test out all of the recent buffs!

The New Major Order Allows Helldivers to Organize on Their Own

Not wanting to limit players to only fighting one enemy after the update, the developers introduced a new challenge. The current Major Order states: “Expand the net quantity of Freedom in the galaxy in order to demonstrate overall Force Readiness”.

The official Helldivers 2 account on X offered more details. The post stated: “To succeed in this order, the total number of planets liberated during the order period must exceed that of planets stolen by the enemy. The choice of which planets to prioritize will be left to the strategic expertise of the Helldivers”.

As you probably know, many players have returned to Helldivers 2 since the update. This Major Order is the perfect opportunity for the entire player base to take a moment and just enjoy all the changes. Since the MO lasts 7 days, the players can test out all of their favorites.

One player, trifecta000, noted: “Love that the MO after the new patch is just to kill stuff and liberate planets. Gives us plenty of time to use all of the new stuff and see what’s working. And, make note of anything that needs to be fixed”.

Helldivers 2 Players Want to Fight on Both Fronts Following the Update

Devoted Helldivers 2 players gladly delivered on their end of the deal. They took to social media and covered it with tactics and suggestions. Who would’ve guessed that all the Helldivers 2 players needed to agree on a strategy for a Major Order was a great update?

At the time of writing this article, around 17,5k Helldivers were participating in the defense mission on Gatria. As defending a planet wouldn’t contribute to the overall score, some players didn’t agree with this approach. The majority of Helldivers still decided to do their democratic duty and squish some bugs. Other popular suggestions for bugdivers were Pandion XXIV, Trandor, and Gacrux.

If you are a botdiver, you might want to join your fellow players on Gaellivare, Lesath, or Menkent. Many players who prefer fighting on the bot front hope for a Cyberstan push. However, that might have to wait for some next Major Order.

We are happy to join our fellow divers on both fronts, variety is always a good thing. Also, since the Orbital Napalm Barrage was added, we’ve been craving some big booms. Which weapon/Stratagem will you be using the most? For Super Earth and Managed Democracy, of course.
