The current Major Order was the only thing standing between the Helldivers and the DSS. After massacring half a billion bugs, the brave Helldivers 2 players secured enough E-710 to fuel the mighty Democracy Space Station. Now that it’s finally here, the players can explore everything that the DSS currently has to offer.
The Democracy Space Station Features
Once you select the DSS menu, you’ll be able to choose between Summary, Actions, and Locations. Under Summary, you can see the overview of the DSS, the currently active Actions, as well as the progress on future Actions, the current location, and the next location.
The second tab is Actions. Here you can donate your Samples and Requisition Slips to three different options (for now). Once the option is fully funded, the DSS will activate. Currently, the options are Planetary Bombardment, Eagle Storm, and Orbital Blockade. At the time of writing this article, all of these will be fully funded in around 17 hours. Then, we’ll be able to see just how powerful the DSS is.
Last but not least, the third tab is Location. As you know, the current location of the DSS is Gaellivare. However, it will move soon, and here you can vote where. Mastia will probably be the next location of the DSS.
Helldivers Hope the DSS Will Make Big Booms
Truth be told, the Helldivers 2 players are a little overwhelmed by the launch of the Democracy Space Station. The initial reviews are mostly positive, but the players are wondering if that’s all they’ll get for months of hard work.
One player, TheLastFloss, noted: “I really hope they have some more big updates in the pipeline soon. Because, honestly, this is a little (tiny bit) disappointing after how long we waited. Feel like this is just a band-aid solution for us to have something, anything to spend all those stupid requisition slips on”.
However, the players have yet to see the DSS in action, so the majority of players hold hope that it will be magnificent. EnderB3nder stated: “Please don’t be underwhelming. AH, you’re giving us a weapon we fought for a long time to get up and running. Big booms should boom big. Please don’t let us down”.
Finally, one detail thoroughly annoyed the players, the fact that you can only donate a limited amount of Samples/Requisition Slips. However, we’re sure that this was actually put in to prevent the players who acquire their resources undemocratically from funding the Actions instantly.
So, how do you like the Democracy Space Station? Honestly, we know that it will probably evolve in time, but we’re loving it so far. Now, we’re off to fight the Jet Brigade and drain all of our resources into the DSS. For Liberty and Super Earth.
