Major Order Keeps the Helldivers 2 Players on the Bot Front

After a brief pause between the MOs, dedicated players are returning to the Automaton front. Could it be that Joel decided to grant their plea to keep fighting the bots? We’ll never know, but the important fact is that the current Major Order might allow the Helldivers 2 players to make a significant dent on the bot front.

Helldivers 2 Players Need to Liberate 3 Planets per the Latest Major Order

As you know, the previous MO split the Automaton forces in two, allowing the players better access to some planets. Now, it’s time to take advantage of that. The new Major Order demanded the players liberate Super Earth’s stolen territory.

It gave Helldivers 3 days to liberate 3 planets, Charon Prime, Charbal-VII, and Choepessa IV. It’s important to know that if the Automatons take over any of the previously liberated planets, their defenses will immediately recover.

Alongside the MO, came a briefing from the devs. One of Helldivers 2 Community Managers took to Discord to offer an update on the Galactic War. It read: “With the Automaton forces in disarray, the opportunity has come to liberate the territory the Automatons illegally occupy”.

The update warned: “However, this battlefield advantage cannot be expected to remain active indefinitely, and we are already getting reports that the Automatons are mobilizing for assaults on our defensive line which separates them. Hold the line, press the advantage, and reclaim worlds lost to the warm embrace of Managed Democracy”.

What is Happening on the Bot Front?

Helldivers 2 players were actually very excited to return to the bot front and finish what they had started in the previous Major Order. HatfieldCW stated: “Good move, Arrowhead. I had hoped that we’d press the advantage on our own, but that didn’t happen. This should guide the players to do what we need to do”.

Several players shared their excitement over the possibility of pushing the Automatons toward the bug front. VR20X6 noted: “The pipe dream would be the fronts meeting and having the factions war against each other, possibly both appearing at once within single missions or at least single operations”.

Now, as expected, the Automatons would not go down without a proper fight. The bots have already attacked Matar Bay, as many dedicated players predicted. The Helldivers are now divided between defending Matar Bay and liberating the planets for the Major Order. We can’t wait to join them, we’ll bring our trusty Commando and some EATs. Let’s spill some oil for democracy.
