Most of the devoted Helldivers are aware that their favorite game hasn’t been in perfect condition for a while now. Sure, the devs are working on a fix, but some players have reported experiencing burnout while trying to play the game in the current conditions. Taking a break is a solid idea, but there are still many players who return to the game to unwind after a long day, only to get even more frustrated. Well, according to senior Helldivers 2 players, there is another way you can truly enjoy the game before they issue a fix.
A Simple Way You Can Enjoy Helldivers 2
As you know, playing on higher difficulties is currently quite demanding and it can be very frustrating. So, some veterans shared what they do when they want to play, but don’t want to get overwhelmed.
One player, thiswasfree_, advised: “How about helping out some new recruits? I’m a diver who has unlocked everything and usually plays on the highest difficulties for the fun of it. Well, today I joined a level 4 player on a difficulty 3 just because I felt like it, and was able to explain a lot of game mechanics to them”.
This player went on to explain how they had an absolute blast. They added: “At some point, two other experienced players joined and we suddenly had an entire lobby with mics on. If you are burned out from high-level diving, consider helping out some of our new recruits”.
Helldivers Love Helping out Fellow Players
Believe it or not, this has become quite a common practice among senior divers. While waiting for new content, or a fix, the most devoted Helldivers 2 players still enjoy the game and contribute to the community by training the rookies. Honestly, this is a wonderful short-term solution to current issues.
Other players shared their experiences as well. SolaceVilkom stated: “It’s been a habit of mine. When I play, my last game would be to start training new recruits. There’s a sense of peace and community after just going crazy on higher-level missions”.
Being of service to the community isn’t the only perk of lower-level diving, don’t forget about farming Super Credits. One player, gnoodl, recalled: “Was farming SC last night with a level 10 guy on D3. He wanted to bump up the difficulty so we jumped to a Super Helldive. Level 10 guy had a blast, walked away with Rare and Super Samples, and didn’t even die once”.
So, the next time you find yourself grinding and fighting to survive on a higher difficulty, we suggest you switch to a lower level and help some new recruits. You can contribute to the current Major Order together while discussing what you want to see in the upcoming patch. After all, we’re all fighting for Super Earth and Managed Democracy.
