Arrowhead Is Reportedly Working on a New Crossover! Helldivers 2 Players Share Which Collab They Hope For

Helldivers 2 x Killzone collab, Super Earth Salute

With Arrowhead in charge, you know you’re always in for a treat! Recently, the players got to travel into the Gloom for the first time ever, and they got plenty of new content, new mission types, and yet another new strain of bugs. However, one can never get too much new content, so some players inquired about possible new collabs. Well, great news! According to one of Helldivers 2 developers, a new crossover is in plans.

Developers Are Working on a New Crossover

Back in December 2024, Arrowhead released its first collab, Helldivers 2 x Killzone. The first part of the collab disappointed many players. The designs were spectacular, but the prices were too steep. Consequentially, the devs decided to gift the second part of this collab to players as a holiday present. This act was very well received.

Later on, the CCO of Arrowhead, Johan Pilestedt, shared some insight into the process of choosing the right contender for a collaboration. He explained that Arrowhead would always aim to “Do right by Helldivers”, which completely restored players’ faith.

Now, a couple of months later, and amid the entire Meridia / the Gloom chaos, some players still hold hope that a new collab will happen. So, they took the opportunity and asked the devs on Discord about it.

One of the developers, Sephez, gave a short, but exciting answer to this question. Now, don’t get your hopes too high, but, reportedly, something is already in the works. Sephez noted: “We’re in the very early stages of something new”.

Helldivers 2 Players Share Which New Collab They Want to See

As you might have expected, the Helldivers 2 community was thrilled that a new crossover might be happening. Even though no one (except Arrowhead) can know what “very early stages” means, Helldivers were eager to share their expectations.

Halo 3: ODST was, once again, a popular choice. Also, many players wanted a collab with the Alien/Predator franchise. At this point, the Warhammer collab is still topping the lists, alongside the Deep Rock Galactic crossover. However, as of the time of writing this article, there’s no way of knowing what the devs are cooking.

So, let’s focus on what we can, um, control? Well, try to control, at least. The new Major Order is in progress, and your fellow Helldivers could use some help. So, join us on Fori Prime, and let’s face these monstrous bugs together. For Liberty and Super Earth.
