The brave divers of Super Earth have proven their mettle once again. After the Automatons renewed their assault on Claorell, there was fear that distracted Helldivers might not rally in time for the second go-around. Yet in a pure display of democratic fervour, players have managed to not only push back the bots but did it in record time.
Claorell holds as divers look for their next target
The latest Major Order is complete and in record time. Claorell has been defended for the second time and we hope that the bots have learned their lesson. Though there’s little chance of that, we know. There were even over 8 hours to spare, so now the Helldivers prepare for their next assignment. Before the new mission statement arrives from Super Earth, players are discussing their next course of action.
All signs point to Vernen Wells
While we wait to see if Claorell gets attacked for the third time, divers are preparing to redeploy their forces to other hotspots on the galactic map. The prime candidate is, as expected, Vernen Wells. This beleaguered world has been the site of frantic combat for a while now. It guards the path to our Logistics Hub, necessary for the completion of the DSS.
Helldivers have issued the call for all Claorell veterans to join them at Vernen Well – there is still a chance to reclaim the world and secure the front. “This should be a top post!! We need to liberate Vernen Wells to provide a security buffer for our DSS logistics hub on Tarsh! If we lose that, the DSS gets delayed. Vernen Wells also has a low decay rate (-1.5%) so we should be able to take it with low numbers hopefully.” assured EddyCKan.
But that’s not all. A rallying cry has been heard, and it looks like Helldivers are more than ready to respond. Twendall5 has issued a missive to those in the Vernen trenches. “Hold on! We are coming! We have almost beat the bots back from the Forge. We need you heroes to hold on for 4 more hours! Your efforts are not in vain. We are coming.” That was just hours before the Claorell front was secured, which means that Helldivers are now well en route to the next community-made objective.
