After the success of Ghostrunner, 505 Games announced a sequel back in 2021. It brings a whole new story, new mechanics like riding a motorcycle, new abilities that you can mix and match to create your ultimate combo, and a synth-wave soundtrack to bring it all together. So let’s see if Ghostrunner 2 is out and available to play.
What is the Release Date for Ghostrunner 2?
Ghostrunner 2 has been scheduled for release on October 26, 2023. That means we have to wait a few more days to start slashing those cyborgs in half. The game’s release date was set to be revealed at Gamescom 2023 but was leaked before that, and the devs took that with good grace, officially announcing the release date.
It is just a couple of days before we can jump on that motorcycle and show off our sword-wielding cyber-ninja skills. But that is not all. The Demo is available right now (on Steam, Epic Games, Xbox Series X/S, and PlayStation 5) if you want to take a peek at the game and test out some new abilities. Things are even better for those who got the Brutal Edition, as they have the privilege of 48-hour Early Access.

Will Last-Gen Consoles Be Supported?
The game will be available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. Unfortunately for last-gen console users, it seems that Ghostrunner 2 will not be available on their platforms. But as the game looks to be quite demanding, it is no wonder it’s current-gen only.
