Everybody likes skins in Fortnite, or Outfits as is the correct in-game term. Skins are usually sold in the shop, where the selection rotates regularly, to keep the selection fresh. The game has about 2000 skins in total, so some skins may take a while before they rotate back in. Others simply leave the game altogether, since they were either limited-time, connected to a franchise (where the contract may expire), or any other reason. On the subject of rotating back in, a couple of popular skins were last seen in November 2023 and now they finally made a comeback, after more than 270 days.
Festival Lace Is Ready to Party
First appearing on April 5, 2023, Festival Lace quickly became a popular skin. It depicts a girl with pink and purple hair, her face painted white, glasses, and wearing a goth-type outfit. She appeared in Chapter 4 Season 2 for the first time and has only appeared 8 times since then. But finally, on August 26, 2024, Festival Lace is back in the shop.
She’s an Uncommon Outfit, so you can get her for only 800 V-Bucks, and she comes with both LEGO and Fall Guys styles.
Infinity is Back
A skin made out of stars, Infinity made its first appearance back in Season X, on August 25, 2019. It features a body made out of starlight, wearing a black coat with pink details. Being older, it appeared on more occasions than Festival Lace, around 40 times. But, it was last seen on November 28, 2023, which means its last appearance was 272 days ago.
It is an Epic rarity Outfit, which means it will cost you 1500 V-Bucks to get it. It also comes with both LEGO and Fall Guys varieties.
Fans Happy to See These Skins Again
Both skins are Fortnite originals, so it was a matter of time before they appeared in the shop once more. The wait is now over, and fans are delighted. User GiggleSmokeLife said: “She’s my first skin I ever bought!”, YourFavWhiteMex added: “Hold up infinity back… yea take my money” and farheen_alig stated: “Both are love and welcome back after 270 days”.
With so many skins in the game, it is natural that some skins would take a while to reappear in the shop. Remember that patience is a virtue and if you are waiting on a specific skin, chances are it will appear eventually.
