Fortnite has a lot going on in the last few weeks. From the release of Chapter 5 Season 4 on August 16 to Fortnite Mobile getting some big improvements, both for Samsung devices and iOS in the EU. During that time, leakers were busy looking for any information they could share with the public. That’s how we found out that the current Chapter will end with a Black Hole event, where players will be able to see teasers for Chapter 6. But, in a recently posted footage, leakers found some interesting stuff.
Stark Industries Energy Rifle and Cluster Clingers Spotted
Shiina, a renowned Fortnite leaker, shared their findings. During some new gameplay footage for the mobile version of Season 4, they spotted two unreleased items in there: Stark Industries Energy Rifle and Cluster Clingers
The Stark Industries Energy Rifle first appeared in Chapter 2 Season 4. Its main feature was that it had different stats depending on the firing mode: hip-firing for faster shooting but less damage, and aim-down-sights, for slower fire rate but higher damage. It was vaulted in Chapter 2 Season 5, most likely due to legal reasons. And since the current Season revolves around Marvel, you can see why the Stark Industries Energy Rifle is coming back now.
The Cluster Clinger, on the other hand, first appeared recently, in Chapter 5 Season 1. It is a throwable item, a cluster bomb attached to a “Clinger” (a plunger-looking item). It was vaulted in Chapter 5 Season 2, Update v29.40.
“It’s a given that we’ll get the Stark Rifle soon, but now we can also expect to get the Cluster Clingers,” said Shinna.
Fans Can’t Wait for These Items…One of These Items
New items to shake up the meta are always welcomed. User crs_tuty on X commented: “Excited for the Stark Rifle! Cluster Clingers sounds like a game-changer too. Can’t wait to try them out!” Others are not so crazy about Cluster Clingers, with comments like “Can we not have cluster grenades back? There’s a reason why they were vaulted.” from callumlingttv and “NO NOT CLUSTER CLINGERS PLEASE NO” from ToastyArmadio.
Where do you stand? Are you excited for the return of these weapons, or do you also think that Cluster Clingers should stay vaulted?
