Collaborations are the best part of Fortnite, as they bring other popular franchises to Epic’s famous Battle Royale game. Back in December 2023, Fortnite teamed up with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and that resulted in a bunch of skins (Turtles, Splinter, and April) and accompanying cosmetics. But what about the bad guys? There was no Rocksteady, Bebop, and the main antagonist himself, Shredder, was only available as a Battle Pass reward. But, that’s all about to change.
Shredder is Available in the Store For the First Time
After all this time, the Shredder himself is coming to Fortnite Shop. From August 29, players will be able to get their hands on Shredder Outtfits. He’s available in a bundle, aptly named Shredder Bundle. It costs 2000 V-Bucks to purchase and contains the following items:
- Shredder (Outfit)
- Super Shredder (Outfit)
- Shredder’s Cape (Back Bling)
- Super Shredder’s Cape (Back Bling)
- Shredder’s Steel Claws (Pickaxe)
Note that both Shredder and Super Shredder skins have a LEGO variant. The bundle will stay in the Shop for 6 days (somewhere until September 4), so you better hurry up if you want to play as Oroku Saki himself in Fortnite.
Fans Happy to See Shredder Once More
As you’d expect, the community is thrilled with the return of Shredder to the shop. You get a lot of comments from the players like “Damn this one cool…” from YourFacWhiteMex and “It’s so beautiful” by akshaya_twitz.
However, some players wonder what this means for previous exclusive Battle Pass skins. “Wait…they’re not adding pass skins? Do I…have hope for Lara” asked Hope_Auq. Players reply that “mini pass” skins will be making a comeback, it’s the old “full” Battle Pass skins that are questionable here. Alternatively, some would prefer that those skins stay exclusive, like AnandOfficiaI who said: “Super shredder should’ve stayed exclusive but ight”
Either way, Shredder is here now, for all of you TNMT fans out there.
