Fortnite Players Offer the Devs Solutions for a Huge Reload Issue

Sometimes the choices others make can have a huge impact on your experience and it seems that no one knows that better than the Fortnite community. Recently, many Fortnite players reported having to deal with an annoying issue of other people quitting Reload. This has snowballed into quite a problem and the community members offered ideas that could solve it.

A Lot of Players Have Faced the Reload Quitting Issue

One player, JDMcDuffie, presented the problem to the community. They stated: “They have got to do something about people quitting in Reload. Look, I get it. Quitting is a risk when you play with random people. The amount of people that disconnect when there is still a lot of the game left is ridiculous. There should be a temporary hold on matchmaking if you consistently quit games”.

TJB926GAMIN thought the attention span was the main problem. They said: “It’s more common in squads since the reload time starts at (I think) 30 seconds… which is longer than the average TikTok video and people don’t feel like waiting to see if their teammates are worth staying with”.

Another player, Cularia, experienced this issue repeatedly. They noted: “The amount of times I looted up after the team chose a drop spot and 1 minute passed and I found out I’m now in duos is insane. I get connection problems but this is ridiculous. there needs to be a penalty for dipping out after the bus goes up and before the no reboot goes into effect”.

Several players suggested their solutions, among them, DaDummBard, offered the most viable one. This player proposed: “They should just make it where a new person can join midgame. I feel like that can work in reload since there’s respawning already”.

Some Fortnite Players Have Valid Reasons for Quitting

One Fortnite player, stompah2020, realized that the issue wouldn’t exist if quitting Reload was practically impossible. They explained: “Just lock players into the game until reloads are turned off. So, a player can leave but cannot start a new game until the game he left turns off reloads. I cannot imagine it would be that hard to implement. Just a few lines of code that delay going back to lobby by the seconds left”.

Well, we hate to say it, as we know how annoying this issue is, but sometimes players have valid reasons for leaving. Might_as_well_joinem admitted: “It’s rare I’ve quit but here’s the reasons. The team won’t stay together players constantly grabbing loot I just opened. And taking the crown of a player I just fought and killed.. 90% it’s mostly when the team divides up constantly and we just get into a cycle of getting killed nonstop”.

Basically, it’s important to hear out the other side, as well. If we were stuck in those conditions and weren’t able to leave, who knows what would happen? Understanding the other side is just as important as stating your needs. It seems that both sides are quite unhappy.

The best possible scenario would include a perfect team where everyone cooperated and nobody wanted to quit. Unfortunately, that isn’t possible, but maybe the addition of some disciplinary measures might set some players straight. Hopefully, the devs will address this issue soon. Until then, good luck with your endeavors, and enjoy the Pirates of the Caribbean drop.
