The 31.10 update for Fortnite is officially live. Players can get their hands on new Mythic items (like Shuri’s Claws), Dr Doom skin and cosmetics (Fist of Doom Glider, Doomblade Pickaxe, Doom’s Cloak Back Bling, and an appropriate wrap and a loading screen), a new Loot Island, and many more additions. One of those additions is the highly-anticipated Super Styles for some of the Outfits. Those are special Styles only for those players who surpass Level 100 of the Battle Pass. And now, Epic has revealed the latest batch of Super Styles.
Super Styles for the Latest Marvel Skins Revealed
On September 3, Epic posted a picture of all the new Super Styles. We get an orange one for both War Machine and Black Panther, a glowing blue Emma Frost (our favorite), and green ones for Captain Jones and Gwenpool.
All of these styles feature glowing, neon-like colors and glowing eyes as well. This is a great way for players to show off their dedication to the game, and to look cool on the battlefield, of course. The majority of fans are thrilled with these skins, but some are wholly against them.
New Super Styles Recieved Mixed Reactions
First off, a lot of players on X are down for these skins. You can see a lot of comments like “The skins look great with those colors” by JeayBR, “Damn, those look fantastic” by SerenaStarrVT, and “Oh my god! These super level styles are really really cool” by Brongis9163.
But, on Reddit, the situation is vastly different. A lot of players are disappointed Mysterio didn’t get one, and one player even jokingly said that the devs are calculating who would look the best with a Super Style so they would not give it to them specifically. But, the greatest issue players have with these Super Styles is the glowing eyes. So much so that they ask for a way to toggle them off. “I’m begging them to allow a toggle. Usually glowing eyes look [bad] to me” said Electronic-Force-944. “The only season this chapter where I liked the super styles was season 3 because it didn’t have the glowing eyes. Why did they bring them back?!“ asked porcaro0395.
Implementing an option to turn the glowing eyes on or off is surely not that big of a deal, and a lot of players would appreciate it. A lot of helmeted styles have the option to take it off, so we hope Epic does something similar with the glowing eyes.
