August 6 is all about the v30.40 Update. The players were looking forward to this one, as it brings massive improvements to LEGO Fortnite (like the Battle Bus Station network, or the ability to change the settings of your existing worlds, without having to create new ones from scratch in order to do so) and “the ability to publish your Fall Guys islands along with six new sample islands to inspire your own creations.”
But, with all the hubbub about the new releases, leakers have been busy and have found some info regarding possible new skins. Let’s check it out.
Possible New Skins Coming to Fortnite: X-Men and DBZ
On August 6, both Shiina and iFiremonkey posted some leaks for new skins. It seems we will be getting Custom Loading Screen Skins, new Emotes, and some more X-Men and Dragonball Z Outfits.
The skins in question are Jubilee, Cyclops, and Colossus from X-Men (in the old animated/comic-book style), with their accompanying Pickaxes and Back Blings. As for Dragonball, it seems we are getting Andriod 17 and Andriod 18, with their respective Back Blings. Unfortunately, we do not have any release dates for this.
As you’d expect, the community was thrilled for the X-Men skins. Comments like “Only need these” and “I’ve been waiting for Cyclops since the Marvel season came out.” are flooding the leaks post. DBZ skins are not ignored, but the majority of comments ask the same thing: where is Trunks?
Where is Trunks?
A couple of months ago, rumors started circulating that the popular character Trunks was coming to Fortnte very soon. Months passed and still nothing, so naturally, the fans are confused now. One player, named Filthy Rat on X, said: “I’m crying bro we got androids before Trunks himself lmfaoo”.
While there is no guarantee, it may be that Trunks will be released along the Androids. Shiina answered: “Technically possible I assume, but I don’t think Trunks is encrypted”. User Besty Battalion replied: “Would make sense to drop him with the Androids” and another user agreed, adding: “exactly 17 and 18 without trunks is just egregious”. It looks like we will have to wait a bit longer before getting any answers to this question.
