How to Pet the Wolf Mount in Fortnite
To be able to pet the wolf in Fortnite, you will first have to tame it and then ride it. Only once you’ve hopped on the beast’s back will you have the option to give them well-deserved pets. To do that, use the same button that you use to emote. Instead of emoting, your character will lean forward and pet the wolf. That’s all there is to it, and armed with this knowledge, you can go on a petting spree in Fortnite.
How to Tame Wolves in Fortnite
Before petting the wolf, you will first need to tame one. The best place to look for them is in outdoor areas on the western portion of the map. Once you have located a wolf, there are two ways that you can tame it.
For the first method, you can place some meat on the ground, and then walk away. The wolf will come over, and while it’s preoccupied with the treat, you can jump onto its back.
The other method is slightly more risky. Once you’ve found a wolf, look for a position to jump onto it without alarming it, such as a cliff or a branch. Then calculate your jump and if you land on its back, you will be able to ride it.
