Fortnite and Fall Guys collaboration has been in the works for a while now. Little tidbits, leaks, sneak peeks, and more have been circling the community. Fall Guys is another popular Battle Royale game (albeit with a different vibe altogether), so a collab between these two franchises is to be expected.
Recently, during one (what seems like a Party Royale) game, one player noticed a familiar, bean-shaped character.
Fall Guys Skin Appears During One Fortnite Game
One player, named Barnard-Sadners on Reddit, posted a video of (we assume) them and a bunch of other players all gathered around a player with a Fall Guys Outfit. The player had a ‘[EPIC] Rico’ player tag, alluding that they are an employee of Epic Games. Other players think the same, with comments like “That’s a dev, all dev have [ Epic ] in their name “ and “anyone with [epic] in their name is an epic employee yes, probably testing something “.
Other players point to the fact that devs are unable to join public servers, with Harlow_Quinzel saying: “but as far as I understand dev accounts are not able to join public instances” and DaJix2k5 adding: “It’s actually not allowed on live modes”. Take all of this with a grain of salt.
Players Want a Bean Royale Game
With the appearance of this skin, players are wondering what Fall-Guys-related content will be added further. Some were quick to point out that “You can currently create Fall Guys UEFN islands. It will be in the game soon.”
Others started giving their own ideas about the Fall Guys Fortnite mode. User awesomeninja199 offered: “They need to actually have this as an option. I think there should just be a battle royale mode where you can play as a bean. There’s a lot more leeway with that because Epic owns Fall Guys.” When asked isn’t that just like regular Fall Guys, soldier769258 answered: “As far as I know Fall Guys doesn’t have guns and is a racing game”.
More and more tidbits about Fortnite x Fall Guys keep appearing, so it is just a matter of time before they are officially introduced into the game. Was that leak really an accident? Not likely. Rather, we think it was probably done on purpose, to raise the hype. Will they be added as a regular skin for Battle Royale, or will they be only added to specific game modes, time will tell. We hope we won’t have to wait for long.
